If you didn’t know it by now, please find out that cats like automatic window blinds quite a lot. Fun is that we installed these electric Bali blinds on purpose for our cats, but not to offer them a new toy, but because we feared they might get strangled with those cords, as they always enjoyed playing with strings and ropes.

Now we’ve got this situation that makes me smile, but also worries me a bit: our kid loves playing with the blinds, so he uses the remote control whenever we don’t pay attention to him. He’s moving the blinds up and down, while the kitties are chasing them and jump on the windowsills as high as they can. I believe I’ll have to buy new blinds every two months or so, if my beloved son and cats won’t get bored with this destructive but entertaining game. Besides, cleaning thin bamboo blinds is always a challenge, so even if the blinds survive, they get so dirty, that I have to clean them weekly. Or have you thought the kid is washing his hands before playing?
